Field Clinical Engineer
Join an innovative medical technology organization at the forefront of launching breakthrough interventional therapies. This is a unique field clinical role supporting early commercialization, clinical adoption, and research initiatives for an emerging procedural technology.
Unlike traditional case-heavy clinical roles, this position is heavily focused on upstream patient identification, pipeline development, and driving program growth within strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with physicians and clinical teams to identify appropriate patients and develop procedural pipelines within target accounts
• Support account enrollment goals and help drive utilization growth across assigned territory
• Provide clinical and procedural support for research and post-market cases as needed
• Collaborate closely with research and commercial teams to support study execution and program expansion
• Assist with investigator-sponsored and post-market clinical initiatives
• Deliver physician and staff education/training on patient selection, therapy workflow, and best practices
• Support early adopter accounts through program development and optimization strategies
• Serve as a key clinical resource during the commercialization and adoption of novel therapy platforms
Ideal Background:
• 5+ years of field clinical experience within medical device or procedural healthcare environments
• Strong cath lab / cardiovascular / interventional clinical background preferred
• Experience with patient identification, referral development, or program-building strongly preferred
• Prior involvement supporting research studies or clinical trial initiatives preferred
• Startup / early-stage commercialization experience highly valued
• Comfortable operating in a non-traditional clinical role with heavy strategic/account development focus
• Strong communication, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills
