Introduction to the job

Application engineer supports customer node project, new product introduction, evaluate new functions.

Role and responsibilities

Node project: support engineering work for node transition project.

New product: introduce new product, demonstrate value of ASML product, evaluation and adaption on HVM.

• Able to understand customer needs, align clear problem description with customer
• study new product/function, support product evaluation
• Take ownership and initiative, required prompt response
• lead engineering work and communication with ASML experts (ABS, DE, GSC) internally, and act as customer interface for engineering work
• collaborate across departments including Sales, Mkt, Product Manager
• problem solving mindset
• support DUV, YS, VCP

Education and experience

• More than 2 yrs experience in semiconductor industry

Skills

Ability for data analysis, reporting, problem solving, drive assigned work stream for node transition project. You should be aware of cost of ownership, and maximize value of ASML product.

• Describe clear problem description including customer use case
• Able to create user friendly technical document using common words (not ASML specific term)
• Trouble shooting skill, data analysis skill, excel, power point, MATLAB
• English requirements: TOEIC 600 +, daily conversation level
• English presentation, communication skill to lead technical conversation internally, and externally
• Japanese skill JLPT N1 or native level
• lead technical conversation by Japanese in customer meeting

Other information

This position is based in Nagasaki. Onsite support is required and need clean room work some times. also We may need to deliver off hour support.

想定年収 580万円～
※給与改定、賞与：有（年1回 3月）

業務上の必要により以下に入社後就業場所の変更を行うことがあります。
三重、広島、岩手、熊本、大分、北海道

・勤務時間

所定労働時間：7時間30分（休憩1時間)とし、区分に応じて以下の３通りが選択可能です。
8:30〜17:00、9:00〜17:30、9:30〜18:00

※相談によりコアタイム無しのフレックス勤務適用あり

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
