Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installation of fiber optic cable in both indoor and outdoor settings
• Blow fiber into duct banks
• Install fiber optic cabling for phones, internet, television, and other telecommunications
• Maintain accurate field documentation and supporting project timelines
• Read, create and maintain schematics and diagrams
• Ensure all fiber operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications
• Safety training as required by position
• Paperwork filing and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles as needed

Essential Education and Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to travel

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, crawl, etc.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat)
• Must be able to identify color

Pay: $19-$28/hr
