Job Description

Role

The One Finance (OF) Program PMO plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of a strategic Finance transformation program composed of 20+ initiatives. You will be supporting the delivery of a strategic One Finance transformation program by ensuring strong governance, financial control, and value realization, while enabling effective executive steering and cross-functional alignment. The role ensures robust governance, financial value tracking, and cross-functional coordination, enabling leadership to steer the program effectively and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will be acting as a key partner to Program Leadership, Finance stakeholders, initiative owners, and IT teams, the PMO drives transparency, discipline, and performance across the full program lifecycle.

Duration: 12 months (fixed-term)

Responsibilities

Program Governance & Delivery Oversight

  • Support the design and enforcement of program governance, including stage gates, decision forums, and escalation processes
  • Consolidate and validate deliverables, plans, and milestones
  • Ensure alignment with IT PMO standards and Finance transformation methodologies
  • Track interdependencies across initiatives and ensure coordinated delivery
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the Finance transformation roadmap

Financial Control & Value Tracking (Finance-specific core focus)

  • Monitor program budget, forecast, and actuals, ensuring adherence to financial targets
  • Track business case delivery, including cost savings, efficiencies, and value realization
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and consistency with reporting cycles

Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Management

  • Consolidate KPIs: delivery, financials, risks, benefits
  • Prepare and maintain executive presentations and steering materials
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve program performance
  • Ensure a single source of truth for program data

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate across Finance, IT, and business teams
  • Ensure consistent communication across all initiatives
  • Support alignment between senior stakeholders and initiative leads

Risk & Issue Management

  • Maintain the program risk and issue register
  • Ensure risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated proactively
  • Escalate critical issues with recommended mitigation actions
  • Monitor execution of mitigation plans across initiatives

Resource & Capacity Visibility

  • Support visibility on resource allocation across initiatives
  • Highlight capacity constraints or conflicts
  • Contribute to prioritization discussions aligned with strategic Finance objectives

PMO Tools, Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive PMO standards, tools, and reporting consistency
  • Improve methodology with a focus on Agile/BI small-scale initiatives delivery
  • Ensure effective use of PM tools, templates, and reporting standards
  • Drive harmonization of practices across initiatives
  • Capture lessons learned and suggest process improvements

Requirements

  • 8–10 years in PMO, program management, or project controlling
  • Experience in Finance transformation and multi-initiative programs
  • Exposure to financial planning, controlling, and performance tracking
  • Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery models, especially for BI/reporting projects

  • Program governance & delivery management
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, variance analysis, value tracking)
  • Advanced data analysis & reporting skills (Excel, Power BI)
  • Cross-functional coordination (Finance, IT, business)
  • Knowledge of Finance processes (closing, forecasting, reporting)
  • Familiarity with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
