Mission

The SSC Accounting Division at Calderys partners with regional finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information that supports business decisions and growth. The team focuses on quality, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Understand balance sheet reconciliations criticality (for prepaids, accruals, intercompany, clearing accounts etc)

• Maintain and support in audit-ready documentation

• Extract and analyze data from SAP and Oracle

• Post manual and recurring journal entries

• Reconcile subledger to GL balances

• Support in building reconciliation templates and trackers

• Support month-end close activities

• Validate accruals and prepaid amortization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/MBA pursuing or equivalent is a plus).
• 0–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or reconciliation roles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar) is preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English: professional or native proficiency

• Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones. flexibility in working hours to ensure smooth communication, timely delivery, and coordination with international teams.

• As a plus
  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., look-ups, pivot tables).
  • Exposure to reconciliation tools -ARCS is an advantage.
  • Internship or initial experience in finance/accounting.
