Your role & work environment
Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking’s core business lines, offering products and services to corporate and institutional clients.

We own the IT assets in scope and are responsible for delivering services to clients and stakeholders.

As an FI Customer Journey Expert within TS Delivery Management, you will join Product Area Payments & Channels and become part of the FI Delivery team.
The team delivers change for Correspondent Banking products and propositions, including key onePCM initiatives such as the FI Clearing Hub. In this role, you have end-to-end responsibility for delivering and managing solutions across systems, services, and channels, helping enable new propositions through your expertise in technical product development and delivery.

As a Customer Journey Expert

  • You report to the Delivery Product Lead FI and Channels.
  • You focus on delivery activities for your product or project.
  • You contribute to the ING One Agile Way of Working.
  • You help improve product and service performance.
  • You work across the global network, encouraging cross-border collaboration, teamwork, and alignment with all parties involved in delivery.

Your key responsibilities

  • You translate and refine business requirements from Product Management and help define the best solution roadmap.
  • You support product development with an end-to-end mindset, including (C)OPAF implementation and delivery of business operations and services.
  • You connect business and IT by understanding client needs, supporting digitisation, and ensuring quality through user acceptance testing.
  • You simplify solutions and processes.
  • You work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to ensure products and services meet regulatory and policy requirements.
  • You support the Delivery Product Lead in large-scale, complex international change projects and programmes.
  • You share responsibility with colleagues for achieving QBR goals.
  • You help manage demand towards PSS, WB Tech, and external vendors, in cooperation with the IT Area Lead.
  • You help safeguard our license to operate through secure, reliable 24/7 operations and regulatory compliance.
  • You contribute to risk and control compliance to mitigate business and operational risks.
  • You align with Product Managers and IT colleagues to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Proven track record and technical skills
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • 5–8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with, or strong affinity for, payment products such as International Payments and Correspondent Banking.
  • Experience working with IT engineers to deliver results.
  • Experience implementing a new target architecture or operating model is beneficial.
  • Experience with, or strong affinity for, the ING Agile Way of Working is a plus.
  • Experience in product delivery is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
