This position offers practical experience in aerospace prototyping and small UAV development. As an intern at Flogistix, you will gain hands-on experience in the design and fabrication of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge aerospace technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and fabrication of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
- Assist with carbon fiber repair to ensure the integrity and performance of UAV structures.
- Engage in 3D printing of components to facilitate rapid prototyping and testing.
- Assemble UAV structures and subsystems to contribute to the overall development process.
- Contribute to CAD-based 3D modeling and design updates, enhancing the precision and efficiency of UAV designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design improvements and innovations.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university.
Required Experience:
- Experience or coursework in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with UAV design and fabrication processes, including carbon fiber repair and 3D printing.
- Experience with CAD software for 3D modeling and design updates.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics and structural design principles.
- Proficiency in using CAD tools for creating and updating 3D models.
- Ability to work with composite materials and perform basic repair tasks.
