About the Role
The Fertility Care Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Fertility Care Medical Assistant, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.
We are seeking a Fertility Care Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington, located in Tacoma This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday-Friday, from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with up to 2 holidays per year and 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, verify medical history, and ensure all patient information is accurately updated in the EMR.
Support healthcare providers during exams, procedures, and treatments to ensure high-quality patient care.
Prepare and room patients for ultrasounds and procedures, assisting physicians or ultrasound technicians as needed. Procedures may include: IUIs, endometrial biopsies, HSGs, OHs, PAP smears, ultrasounds, uterine soundings, and physical exams.
Manage medication samples and consignment inventory, including stock reconciliation and documentation.
Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and ensure medical equipment is prepared and functioning.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care as directed.
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals with accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Support inventory control and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
Provide compassionate, timely responses to patient questions and deliver exceptional customer service.
