About the Role

We are seeking Female Disability Support Workers who are fluent in Vietnamese and English to support two female clients based in Cabramatta, NSW

In this role, you will provide support to clients with high needs and complex behaviours, promoting independence, wellbeing, and dignity in daily living.

You’ll work closely with:

  • Female Client 1 (38 years old) – Mild Intellectual Disability and Down Syndrome
  • Female Client 2 (63 years old) – Thalassemia and Early-Onset Dementia

Both clients display a variety of behavioural challenges, including absconding, non-compliance, and verbal aggression, and require personal care assistance, including support for incontinence. One client is largely independent, but both benefit from consistent, compassionate, and structured support.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should bring the following:

  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English (essential)
  • Experience supporting clients with high or complex needs, particularly those displaying challenging behaviours
  • Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when supporting clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Confidence and resilience when managing non-compliant or aggressive behaviours
  • Experience providing personal care, including assistance with hygiene and incontinence
  • Ability to remain calm and consistent in unpredictable or high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a person-centred approach

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) Certificates
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and current registration
  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Disability Support or a similar role
  • Willingness to undergo all required pre-employment checks
