Job Description

The Co-Group is currently seeking experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers to join our team in Blaxland, NSW.

This position has a genuine participant preference for a female support worker. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about providing person-centred support and delivering high-quality care within a home environment.

  • Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
  • Maintaining professional documentation and communication

About You

We are looking for support workers who are:

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Professional and punctual
  • Confident providing personal care
  • Experienced with manual handling and transfers
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to build positive and professional relationships

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Personal care experience
  • Manual handling and transfer experience
  • Experience working within disability support, aged care, community services, or a similar field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent English communication skills

Shifts Available

Monday to Friday

  • 6:30am – 3:30pm

Shift times may vary based on participant needs.

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
  • Full Australian working rights

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
