The Feeder On-Road Supervisor is responsible for training UPS Small Package tractor-trailer drivers in accordance with company guidelines. This individual will monitor performance to ensure drivers are in compliance with UPS and regulatory requirements. This individual will be responsible for conducting monthly safety meetings, administering monthly safety tests, completing annual performance and safety certification (rider with each driver), and reviewing accident and injury reports. This position leads and oversees the supervision of UPS drivers.

Work Location: 2900 Steeles Avenue West, Concord, ON L4K 3S2, Canada
Workdays: Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, (Flexibility required)
Shift Start: 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)
Key Responsibilities:
Provides classroom instruction on work methods, government regulations, and the use of applicable driver systems and technology
Determine employee training needs to produce continuous development plans
Provides feedback and support to employees and the department
Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues
Supervises road activities by reviewing service reports, monitoring schedule adherence, and following up with drivers on schedule deviations
Applies knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems, make decisions and achieve business objectives
Assists with dispatch and yard activities and works with contracted drivers during peak season operations
Applies legal, regulatory, and safety compliance knowledge to mitigate company liability
Build labour relations by engaging with labour officials and unionized employees, and addressing and resolving their requests and issues.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Ontario AZ driver’s license in good standing, with no demerit points within the past two (2) years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 70 lbs. (32 kgs) unassisted
Familiar with MS Office 365
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong multitasking skills
Capacity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Availability to work flexible shift hours and work 5 days per week
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred
Management experience – Preferred
Legal, regulatory and safety compliance knowledge -Preferred
