Job Location: Adams Land and Cattle, LLC South Lot - Broken Bow, NE 68822
Position Type: Full TimeWe are seeking a punctual and responsible individual who enjoys operating equipment to be a part of our Feeding team. This individual would play an integral role in the safe delivery of feed to our cattle every day. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and then 4 days off.
This person will be responsible for:
- Operating the feed trucks in a safe manner.
- Delivering precise rations accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
- Reporting and recording all feed audits.
- Performing basic preventative maintenance, including replacing bits and changing oils and filters.
Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- Mechanical interest and aptitude is beneficial.
- Understanding of proper bunk management.
- Commitment to safety and quality culture.
- Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
- Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.
- Individual must be team oriented.
- Proven professional communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail.
Requirements & CompensationThis position requires:
- Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing and sitting frequently; walking, carrying, lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally.
Compensation Details:
- Starting Wage: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
- $2,500 Hiring Bonus
