CHALLENGES WE OFFER

• Achieves budgeted operational costs, for the New Minas Feed Mill operations
• Ensures that inventory levels are kept at optimum levels to minimize cost but maintain production requirements
• Ensures the production, sale and delivery of quality feeds and ingredients by developing employee understanding and commitment, as well as a good rapport with sales, technical support, and procurement staff
• Motivates and educates employees in personal safety and security of property
• Motivates and develops employees to become an effective and efficient work force by individual and group consultation and training program
• Nurtures harmonious relations with employees by fair and equitable administration of a collective agreement
• Improves office, plant and delivery operations by analyzing operations, developing and implementing plans to reduce costs and/or improve quality and service
• Manage a fleet of delivery trucks & drivers responsible for delivering bulk feed from the site to our customers
• Looks of opportunities to co-ordinate production volumes with other Sollio sites to maximize plant efficiency
• Purchases maintenance parts, new equipment, supplies and services for plant, warehouse and office
• Participates in labour negotiations between management and the bargaining unit

• You possess 7-10 years experience in a related field
• You demonstrate excellent leadership and multi-tasking abilities
• You have strong team work skills
• You have great attention to detail
• You must be able to work in a noisy/dusty environment /various weather conditions
• You have a high degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety
• You have strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• You are physically fit
• You have strong computer skills
