General Purpose: Provide general and preventive maintenance in food manufacturing industry equipment, and have basic knowledge of tools and equipment, and how to use them. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent to the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. They often work in dusty, humid, and heated environments; as well as cold, moist environments.
Qualifications
Candidate is to troubleshoot, locate and diagnose problems with equipment in the hatchery. Maintain repair records on a daily basis and be able to perform preventative care. Be able to stoop, bend on knees and crawl if necessary to do the job. Be able to be on call on weekends.
