Premier Cooperative is seeking a dependable and motivated Feed Manufacturing Associate to join our Westby Feed team. This position is responsible for supporting daily feed manufacturing operations, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safe production practices, and contributing to the overall success of the feed mill.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with agriculture, livestock, manufacturing, or feed industry experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Assist with feed mixing, batching, grinding, and production activities.
- Follow feed formulations and production schedules accurately.
- Operate feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive and handle ingredients and raw materials.
- Load finished feed products for delivery or customer pickup.
- Support inventory control and ingredient management.
Bagging & Product Handling
- Bag, label, stack, and stage feed products accurately.
- Monitor product quality, weights, and labeling requirements.
- Assist with calf feed production and specialty feed programs.
- Maintain product traceability and required production records.
Safety & Quality
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA, DATCP, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in housekeeping and dust-control activities.
- Ensure feed quality standards and feed safety requirements are met.
- Report equipment concerns, maintenance needs, or safety issues promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing, warehouse, delivery, and office personnel.
- Cross-train in various mill functions to support operational flexibility.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.

- Agriculture, livestock, feed manufacturing, or production experience preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
