Position Summary

The FEED Engineer will be responsible for Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) activities for industrial automation and digitalization projects. The role involves developing automation concepts, defining system architecture, estimating project scope, and supporting customers during the pre-project and engineering phases.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute FEED studies for industrial automation, process automation, and manufacturing solutions.

· Develop control system architecture for PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, MES, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 projects.

· Conduct requirement gathering, site surveys, and technical discussions with customers.

· Prepare functional design specifications, automation concepts, and engineering deliverables.

· Define I/O lists, network architecture, control philosophy, and automation strategies.

· Support sales and business development teams during bid and tender stages.

· Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and project engineering teams.

· Identify project risks, assumptions, constraints, and mitigation plans during FEED stage.

· Ensure compliance with industrial standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.

· 8+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Engineering, System Integration, or Project Engineering.

· Experience in FEED, conceptual engineering, basic engineering, or detailed engineering activities.

Technical Skills

· PLC Platforms: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Omron, B&R.

· SCADA/HMI: WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, AVEVA, FactoryTalk, Citect.

· DCS Systems: Siemens PCS7, ABB, Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell.

· Industrial Networks: Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA.

· Knowledge of instrumentation, drives, motion control, robotics, and safety systems.

· Experience in engineering standards, FAT, SAT, and commissioning methodologies.

Preferred Experience

· Process industries, manufacturing plants, water treatment, food & beverage, chemicals, energy, or automotive projects.

· Industrial digitalization, MES, predictive maintenance, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

· Global project execution and customer-facing engineering roles.
