Job Title: Feed Delivery Driver (CDL)
Location: Manchester, IA
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Transportation
- Safely operate feed delivery trucks to transport products to customer locations
- Load and unload feed products in accordance with customer specifications
- Follow established routes while maintaining efficiency and timeliness
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation and paperwork completion
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a valid CDL - A or B and all required endorsements
- Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings
- Report unsafe equipment, conditions, or incidents immediately
- Drive defensively and operate vehicles within all traffic laws and regulations
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance of trucks and equipment
- Coordinate with supervisor on required repairs or servicing
- Ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition
Customer Service
- Provide professional, courteous service during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions as appropriate
- Represent the Cooperative positively in all interaction
Operations Support
- Assist with feed mill or warehouse operations as needed
- - Loading and staging deliveries
- - Inventory support
- - General housekeeping and facility upkeep
- Support team efforts during peak seasons or staffing needs

Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements or ability to obtain
- Ability to meet company insurability requirements
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50–80 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment
- Exposure to agricultural environments including dust, noise, and varying temperatures
- Regular interaction with feed products and delivery equipment
- Seasonal workload fluctuations requiring flexibility, including extended hours during busy periods
