Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, UTMB Student enrolled at least half time.
Job Summary: This job is essentially a community service and tutoring position focused on helping children improve in reading, math, and science while also supporting community programs.
What you would be doing
Tutor students in reading, math, and science, especially students who need added academic support.
Work with elementary, middle, and high school students, including at-risk students.
Maintain tutoring materials and keep the tutoring area organized.
Maintain records and prepare reports related to student tutoring.
Travel to different work sites using your own transportation.
Ability to provide your own transportation to and from sites

Basic reading, math, and science knowledge
Organization and attention to detail
