According to the Federal Student Aid Handbook, in general, students are not permitted to work in work study positions during schedule class time. Students who do not adhere to this policy will be subjected to discipline up to and including termination. There are exceptions, for example, if an individual class is canceled, the student may work during that time if the supervisor documents the exception.
