SUMMARY:

Join our mission-driven construction team supporting Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. As a Security Escort, you will be entrusted with safeguarding sensitive federal facilities by escorting uncleared personnel into restricted areas on base. This highly visible role requires vigilance, professionalism, and strict adherence to federal security protocols. Your presence directly supports national defense and ensures operational integrity.

Location: Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Field-Based

Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret (minimum)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Escort uncleared personnel (contractors, vendors, and visitors) in restricted and high-security locations on base, maintaining visual contact at all times.
  • This role will be for multiple construction projects on base.
  • Verify identification, monitor access badges, and enforce facility rules and security requirements.
  • Provide security and safety briefings to escorted personnel, ensuring understanding of applicable procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs and submit incident or compliance reports as required.
  • Immediately report and respond to unauthorized activity, policy violations, or security concerns.
  • Uphold the highest level of professional conduct while representing the security team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum)
  • Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or federal contracting environments. Experience on NSB Kings Bay is preferred.
  • Strong observational and communication skills with a professional, composed demeanor.
  • Ability to deliver clear briefings and write concise reports.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, and monitoring personnel for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work varied schedules and shifts as mission requirements dictate.

Required Criteria for Consideration:

To enter the site locations, candidates must meet strict badging requirements:

  • No federal or state felony convictions (including general court-martial).
  • No pending felony charges.
  • No misdemeanor convictions of domestic violence.
  • No outstanding warrants.
  • No probation, parole, or pre-trial release restrictions limiting freedom of movement.
