Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire® Funds and Securities, the National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®1, FedACH®, Check Services, and the FedNow® Service. FRFS operates as a fully integrated organization with groups dedicated to customer experience, operations, technology, product and customer/industry management, enterprise services, payments system improvement, and one focused on the ongoing growth and development of the FedNow instant payment service. FRFS teams are represented in multiple districts: Preferred locations Atlanta, Dallas and Minneapolis.
Software Engineers use an analytical, engineering-focused approach and knowledges of programming languages to design, develop, configure, test, maintain and support software applications. This role requires an advanced understanding of software development and/or test automation principles. Has specialized depth and/or substantial breadth of expertise in discipline. Often relied on to provide thought leadership regarding industry experience and knowledge.
Performs work independently. Coaches, delegates, and reviews work of less experienced staff, as well as serves as a knowledge resource. May serve as a team lead. Software Engineer who excels at understanding complex problems and working with the systems, teams and tools needed to provide a great experience to our customers.
