This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

The Delivery Lead will be responsible for providing management and oversight support for key projects within the Card Technology Initiative Delivery Group. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining program administration artifacts, managing cross-project dependencies, and managing development team needs. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery

  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality

  • Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

  • Guides the team on work breakdown and execution

  • Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria

  • Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team

  • Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of applicable experience as PM/Delivery Lead to manage complex Card Technology suite of initiatives.

  • Supports End to End Technology for programs and initiatives including initiative financial management.

  • Performs initiative management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery.

  • Provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards.

  • Manages multiple initiatives or a single major initiative.

  • Partners with Program Managers, Delivery Leads and SMEs to create business features for technology solutions. Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment.

  • Manages to timelines and communicates initiative status and has matrix management responsibility.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization

  • Executive reporting and presentation skills

  • Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels

  • Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Consumer and Small Business Card space.

  • Previous experience at BAC.

  • Familiarity with various initiative management tools.

  • Experience delivering large initiatives with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.

  • Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Agile experience strongly desired
