The platform comfort team work with developments that aim to lower cost, create better products and improve the life at home through standardization, optimization and new development of solutions for beds, sofas & mattresses.
We are strengthening simulation-driven product development at IKEA of Sweden and are looking for an FEA Engineer to join the Comfort Platform team within Range Area Seating.
The purpose of the role is to enable faster development of innovative and robust products by optimizing designs, predicting product performance and validating behaviour while reducing reliance on physical prototypes.

This is a permanent position based in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
