Job Description

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford’s industry leadership. When you join us, you’ll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution

The Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Variable Marketing (VM) Financial Analyst. This is a uniquely designed developmental role intended to cultivate our next generation of strategic leaders

In This Position…

You will sit at the intersection of data, marketing strategy, and business operations. You will be responsible for diving deep into marketing data to uncover actionable insights, while simultaneously using your strong interpersonal skills to partner with our Operations teams. Your ultimate goal will be to drive strategic business decisions and co-develop highly effective variable marketing strategies that deliver measurable results

What You'll Do…

  • Deep Data Analysis: Dive into complex datasets to evaluate the performance, ROI, and financial impact of variable marketing programs. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize marketing spend
  • Strategic Operations Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Operations partners to ensure that variable marketing strategies are grounded in operational reality, aligned with inventory/supply chain dynamics, and designed for seamless execution
  • Drive Strategic Decisions: Translate raw data into clear, compelling narratives. Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners to guide high-level strategic decisions
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with marketing and operations stakeholders to design, test, and implement innovative variable marketing campaigns that drive customer retention, parts sales, and service growth
  • Relationship Building: Act as a bridge between data analytics and operational execution. Build trust, foster open communication, and manage relationships across diverse teams to ensure strategic alignment

You will have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, forecasting, or a related area
  • Detailed-oriented analyst, comfortable navigating complex data to drive margin improvement and revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to lead and influence within a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A quick learner who can multitask, pivot priorities rapidly, and handle competing deadlines effectively

Even better, you may have...

  • MBA or prior marketing and sales experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools). You should be comfortable handling large datasets and extracting the "so what?" from the numbers
  • A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving. You don't just report on what happened; you provide recommendations on what we should do next

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

• Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage

• Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
