Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of FIC product suite and financing to institutional clients, including financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for covering important institutional clients at a senior level within our Financing Coverage Group, focusing on Distribution

  • Have strong relationships with partners, senior PMs, principals and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base.

  • Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities within the securitized, private and alternate capital space

  • New business development in particular within the Financing Coverage Group

  • Drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships

  • Generate new revenue opportunities for the FX business

  • Think strategically about the business, stay on top of market themes/trends

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Series 7 & 63

  • Proficient experience in Fixed Income

  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating various DB teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Be a team player - anticipating and solving problems for the group

  • Have a consistent sense of urgency around doing his or her best – day in and day out

  • Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase DB services

  • Detail oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast moving environment

  • Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive work environment

How You’ll Lead:

  • Able to be a senior role model for the junior population

  • Able to understand and interpret market trends

  • Able to work in a high paced environment under pressure

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is 135-175k. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
