– FCC Technical Analyst (India)

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer with strong expertise in Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) to join our FCC Asia Team Based in Mumbai, India, you will be an integral part of the FCC Asia Technical Excellence organization, working to deliver deep technical insights that directly enhance FCC catalyst sales across the region.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Asia Technical Excellence colleagues to support catalyst sales opportunities, translating your technical proficiency into impactful evaluation and suggestions that influence customers’ view and decisions. You will have the opportunity to influence operational strategies, contribute to customer success, and position our FCC catalyst technologies competitively in the market.

This position offers regional exposure, with travel requirements of up to 10% within Asia

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver competitive technical proposals and catalyst recommendations for existing and prospective customers, supporting the catalyst sales process.
  • Engage with Asia TE and customers to understand the customers’ needs and pains and help improve the unit operation and profitability with Ketjen FCC solutions.
  • Provide technical services such as FCC unit start-up support, ongoing monitoring, and troubleshooting of operational issues.
  • Conduct in-depth technical and economic studies to help customers optimize their FCC operations and improve unit profitability.
  • Prepare and present technical papers at industry seminars, conferences, and customer events.
  • Partner with the business to identify future technical needs, market opportunities, and areas for innovation.

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FCC operations, FCC catalyst business, or FCC licensing.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an asset.
  • A balanced combination of technical depth and commercial awareness, enabling strong customer engagement and advocacy.
