The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian Assoluto restaurant & Vineria with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Deli and the westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Who we are looking for...

You are a passionate host and approach our international guests with warmth, openness and professionalism to make their stay something special. You know exactly how to lead and motivate a team during the early shift, keep an overview even in complex situations and always find a solution. Whether breakfast or lunch – you have your area firmly in view, support your team and help bring fresh F&B ideas to life.

What your responsibilities are...

• You manage the operational aspects of the early shift, ensuring a smooth start to the day from breakfast service through to the lunch period
• You never lose sight of the big picture when things get busy and can properly guide and deploy your team
• You successfully put creative and innovative F&B concepts into action – and perhaps you have your own ideas you'd like to contribute?
• You communicate clearly with your superiors and other departments and are a real team player
• You enjoy passing on your extensive knowledge to the team and especially to the trainees
• You are no stranger to social media and regularly provide content for our marketing team

What we want from you....

• You have at least 2 years of sound professional experience in the upscale hotel/gastronomy industry

• You have already gained some experience in leading and motivating employees

• You are a hands-on person and implement new trends with great creativity

• Your strong awareness of quality and your high standards are evident in everything you do

• You are a communication talent with good German and English skills

• You are an organizational talent and do not lose track of things

• Your winning appearance, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality

• Your guest orientation and willingness to perform inspire the team

• Your enthusiasm to share your knowledge with the team and trainees is contagious!
