Tropicana Laughlin is seeking a motivated, service‑driven Hourly Restaurant Supervisor for the Carnegies Café—someone who leads by example, supports their team, and ensures every guest enjoys warm, attentive Caesars‑style hospitality.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
  • Delegate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Evaluate, coach, and discipline employees as needed
  • Assist in resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care
  • Provide Caesars Family Style Service to guests and team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant success

Supervisory Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will:

  • Directly supervise restaurant staff
  • Interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct daily work
  • Appraise performance and reward achievements
  • Address complaints and resolve issues
  • Enforce company policies and procedures in alignment with Tropicana Entertainment standards
  • Ability to perform all essential duties with professionalism and consistency
  • Knowledge of company policies including fire and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three to six months of related experience in a restaurant, hotel, or casino environment

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

  • Current Health Card and Alcohol Card (or other required certifications based on location)

Language Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information clearly in one‑on‑one or small group settings

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems
