Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • ensuring the Restaurant outlet / Banquet & Conference Rooms are supervised on a daily basis.

  • the direct point of contact for all Restaurant outlet / Banquet & Conference Rooms colleagues

  • Performing opening or closing duties when needed.

  • Supervising, supporting, scheduling, assigning daily work, informing and training colleagues in all Restaurant outlet / Banquet & Conference Rooms activities and operations.

  • Monitoring, observing and assisting in evaluating colleague performance

  • Supporting and assisting colleague in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints

  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards

  • Managing and monitoring product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

  • Assisting in monitoring inventory and inventory control

  • Communicating and delegating tasks to the team

  • Ensuring compliance of brand standards

  • Managing guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Assisting other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationship

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

What we need from you

For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role in an international chain hotel.

  • Ability to plan, delegate, lead and motivate a team.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with great attention to detail.

  • Flexible and adaptive working approach.

  • A collaborator with a friendly and professional persona.

  • Mature and professional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
