Are you someone who loves to connect with people and gets a kick out of solving tricky operational puzzles? Then keep reading!
Zoku is not your typical hotel: we offer a relaxed place to stay, work and meet new people, while helping guests feel connected to the local scene.
TELL ME MORE
As a Duty Manager in Vienna, you’ll ensure Zoku’s operations run smoothly. You coach, train and set our team of “Sidekicks” (the operational team) up for success. You support our operational team when and where needed, helping them maintain high service standards and ensure guests have a great Zoku experience.
You'll report to our Lead Duty Manager and work amongst a team of enthusiastic, highly motivated Duty Managers.
Together with the other Duty Managers and Department Leaders, you make sure all departments are aligned, and operations run smoothly across the board. You will lead our Sidekicks, which operate very differently from those in a typical hotel setting. Think less traditional restaurant and more Living Kitchen, Kindred Spirits Bar, corporate and creative events, co-working lunches and a unique hybrid hotel experience. All combined in one dynamic environment.
We are looking for an F&B specialist who brings not only operational experience to the table, but who is a social butterfly with the ability to empower the team all while staying focused on goals and having a strong commercial orientation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Duty Manager… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Team Lead & Coach: You’ll guide, train, and support the operational team, keeping everyone engaged and aligned with our goals, KPIs and ongoing projects, while making sure Zoku’s values are constantly lived on the floor. You’ll also manage team schedules and projects with your fellow Duties.
Problem Solver: You'll act as the main trouble-shooter and mediate where needed. You'll also be responsible for properly handling safety and security procedures.
Be a smooth operator: You'll be very hands-on and actively support the Sidekicks on the floor, jump in when needed and are the contact person for special reservation requests, guest complaints or administrative tasks.
Operational Allrounder: As a Duty Manager, you oversee the entire daily operation of the hotel across the departments - Bar, F&B service, Rooms - handle reservations, place orders, and check payments. Additionally, you also oversee the M&E operations and special events without losing the focus on any operational needs that will come up.
WHEN YOU'LL BE ON
You’ll work independently across different departments, with both morning and afternoon/evening shifts. Your responsibilities and hours may vary, and your flexibility will shine!
WHAT MAKES THE JOB UNIQUE?
You be all-around leader. You'll improve your skills in the F&B and Rooms department. No day will look the same!
You can bring your knowledge into practice. With an "Always Beta" mentality, you'll help to improve processes at Zoku.
You'll get a second family. Become part of our Zoku community of fellow colleagues, residents and visitors.
You'll be part for a future-oriented hospitality concept. We’re not like your average hotel (feel free to stop by at Zoku to see for yourself!)
You'll make a difference. As an important part of our team, you'll get plenty of responsibility and your ideas will be valued.

WHAT IS ZOKU
Zoku is a new type of hotel that offers a place to live, cowork and socialize in Europe's most livable cities: Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen & Paris.
Designed for the new generation of travellers, Zoku is so much more than a long stay hotel. It is a place you can call your second home, even on your first visit. Zoku is a hive of private Lofts and rooftop Social Spaces, so travellers can stay connected and well rested as they live and work throughout Europe. Throw yourself into your work and play, and effortlessly discover one of our home cities.

Zoku provides a home for business travelers and remote workers who want to live and work in a city for a few days to a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, cowork, and socialize – while wiring you into the local scene. Here's everything you need to know about us:
THE END OF THE HOTEL ROOM
Sleep, work, dine, repeat: all from your own private Zoku Loft.
Bye-bye traditional hotel rooms. We did 150 interviews with our target audience and made 6 different prototypes to create the award-winning Zoku Loft: a spacious micro apartment designed for living comfortably and working efficiently.
In a regular hotel room or studio apartment, the bed always dominates. In the Zoku Loft, the big kitchen table serves as a focal point, shifting the center of the space from the bed to the living room. Now you have a truly livable home to explore Paris and work abroad for as long as you want.
ROOFTOP MEETING ROOMS & EVENT SPACES
Say goodbye to boring conference rooms and dull events. Our rooftop meeting venue is designed to fuel connections, spark ideas, and drive productivity. All of our meeting rooms are flooded with natural light and have amazing views overlooking the city.
On top of this, our friendly team of Sidekicks is on hand to help with whatever you may need, whether that’s providing delicious food and drinks from our on-site restaurant or helping you book an overnight stay in a Loft. Host a brainstorm session, networking event, presentation, or workshop, we can do it all!
COWORKING & COMMUNITY
Join a coworking community where everyone knows your name. Tons of natural light? Check! Inspiring spaces with friendly people? Double check! Discover our rooftop coworking spaces on the top floor of every Zoku. We offer Day Passes (with delicious lunch) and monthly coworking memberships.
