The Municipal Golf Association San Antonio (MGASA), also known as the Alamo City Golf Trail, is a non-profit corporation that has partnered with the City of San Antonio to operate the City's eight golf facilities and be stewards of municipal golf.
The Alamo City Golf Trail Model is based on the premise that golf operations employees are cross-trained in all facets of the operation.
Job Purpose:
The food and beverage server will maintain day to day food and beverage operations at his/her specific facility and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide excellent services and programs to all our customers.

Skills/Qualifications:
Employer Paid TABC/Food Handler Certification
A minimum of one year in as a food and beverage server
Must be at least 18 years of age
Outgoing and service oriented personality
Must be able to communicate with management, kitchen, dining room and golf personnel
Must be able to reach, bend and frequently lift and carry up to 50lbs
Be able to stand for long periods of time in varying temperatures
We encourage each staff member to use initiative at all times and to always go the extra mile!

In May 2007, City Council approved a ten-year management agreement with the MGASA to improve the golf facilities and to manage their operation. MGASA constantly improves the municipal golf courses so that San Antonio Golfers will enjoy playing on premier courses at affordable prices!
