The role

As F&B host, you create welcoming and memorable experiences for our guests across our U Bar, restaurant, and living room. You will be preparing and serving delicious drinks, from morning barista-style coffees to late night cocktails. Picture yourself and your colleagues as memory makers, where you won’t hide behind a bar, but you will connect with our guests.

• Creating excitement and storytelling around our local F&B products, suppliers, initiatives and services;
• Preparing and serving barista-style coffees and teas;
• Serving our guests in the meeting rooms and living room;
• Preparing and serving local beers, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages in our Ubar;
• Creating an inviting and cozy ambiance that sets the stage for a positive stay from the very first hello;
• Spread moments of joy by surprising our guests with unexpected gestures;
• Address guests’ concerns and find swift solutions to secure their happiness;
• Being a real team player. One moment you'll check in our guests, the next you'll be shaking The Usual cocktail for them or helping your team in the pantry.

What you'll bring to the table

With a genuine and friendly nature, you effortlessly build connections with others. As a team player, you thrive in an environment of open communication and honest feedback. We seek an individual who not only serves our guests but also shares a passion for our menu, explaining flavors and creating unforgettable food experiences. You are also driven by a passion for sustainability. Next to this, the following requirements apply:

• At least 1 year experience in a similar role;
• You are a great storyteller and are not afraid to tell about our great partner stories to (y)our guests;
• Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus;
• Available for 4 days per week and flexible, with shifts from 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 and 16:00 - 00:00;
• Must have a heart for sustainability;
• You are legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.
