Upon successful completion of this track in the FAST development program, rotators are welcomed as Field Application Engineer on TI's worldwide Sales & Applications team.
As a Field Application Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

Your start as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) will be through our FAST development program:
Rotation 1: Stay in a local sales office (Field Sales Office (FSO)), 5 months - France:
The FSO rotation is all about learning how to interact with customers and how to solve technical challenges at the customers site. The focus here is on providing technical advice to the customer at system level in order to implement the customer's projects in the best possible way. in addition to other core components, this rotation focuses on analyzing technical alternatives and learning how to select the right technical components while taking design and cost challenges into account. This rotation will preferably take place in your future sales office.
Rotation 2: Stay in the mass market team, 3 months - France:
The rotation in the Mass-Market Team teaches you how to use data-driven solutions and automation in a targeted manner to optimize sales. You will learn how to use TI's resources efficiently and how to scale measures successfully. Through practical exercises, you will develop hybrid sales techniques and improve digital customer relationships. You will learn to set priorities and act quickly - because "done is better than perfect". You will also develop your decision-making skills in uncertain situations and learn how to make the best possible use of personal customer contacts. Finally, you will strengthen your independence and gain confidence in direct communication with customers.
Rotation 3: Stay in the Systems Engineering & Marketing (SEM) team, 3 months:
The rotation SEM allows FAE-to-be hands-on experience to understand the compatibility of TI's product portfolio and learn how our customers can get system-level solutions for their product designs. The rotation will focus on product & PCB layouts, an insight into the production process at Texas Instruments as well as circuit development and testing & validation of designs, among other core areas. This rotation usually takes place at our EMEA headquarters in Freising, Germany.
Rotation 4: Headquarters Experience, 3 weeks - Dallas (USA):
The rotation in Dallas brings you closer to TI and our headquarters. The focus here is on building a multi-level network with key stakeholders in support functions, the Business Unit (BU) and Systems Engineering. Experience the impressive Dallas campus and learn how to utilize all TI resources.
