About the role & team
The eBay Fashion team in the EU plays a pivotal role in crafting how millions of people buy and sell fashion on our marketplace. The team leads category strategy, commercial growth and buyer experience across pre-loved fashion and luxury – from clothing, shoes and accessories to luxury watches, jewelry and handbags. We’re hiring a Trading and Merchandising Manager for eBay France and Italy. The role will be based in our Paris office in France.
Develop and execute the trading plan for Fashion & Luxury across France and/or Italy, aligning initiatives with category and business objectives.
Plan and deliver promotional activities, seasonal events, and awareness campaigns that drive category growth, sales performance, and buyer engagement.
Manage onsite merchandising for Fashion & Luxury on ebay.fr and ebay.it, ensuring category priorities are reflected in the day-to-day buyer experience.
Lead the planning and execution of consumer-facing buyer events that support awareness and commercial goals.
Produce weekly business reviews and contribute to monthly business reviews by analyzing performance data and identifying actionable insights.
Maintain incentive calendars and tracking tools, ensuring initiatives align with quarterly department objectives.
Partner with Account Management and Product teams to increase participation in trading programs and represent local buyer needs within the Fashion & Luxury product roadmap.

Experience trading and merchandising within a fashion e-commerce category.
Strong collaborator management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate optimally and present to senior leaders.
Fluency in English, French, and Italian.
Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear priorities and actions.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance commercial objectives alongside trust and safety considerations.
Willingness to travel to support events and seller engagements, including occasional weekend travel, particularly within France and Italy.
