Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 Net Monthly
Experience: 2 – 4 Years

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, fashion-forward, and customer-oriented Fashion Sales Associate (Stylist & Tailoring Consultant) to join a premium fashion brand in Lekki, Lagos.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for fashion, excellent sales ability, and hands-on knowledge of garment fitting, tailoring consultations, and personal styling. This role requires someone who can create exceptional customer experiences, drive showroom sales, and provide expert fashion guidance while ensuring clients receive perfectly fitted and styled garments.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Welcome and engage walk-in customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the brand's premium image.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable fashion pieces and styling options.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
  • Upsell complementary products and styling services to maximize revenue opportunities.

Fashion Styling & Consultation

  • Provide personalized styling advice based on customer preferences, body type, lifestyle, and occasions.
  • Assist clients with wardrobe planning, outfit coordination, and fashion recommendations.
  • Stay informed on current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and industry developments.
  • Support customers in making informed purchasing decisions through expert fashion guidance.

Tailoring & Fittings

  • Take accurate body measurements for bespoke and ready-to-wear alterations.
  • Conduct fitting sessions and provide recommendations on garment adjustments.
  • Liaise with tailors and production teams to ensure customer specifications are accurately executed.
  • Monitor alteration timelines and ensure timely delivery of completed garments.
  • Advise customers on fabric selection, garment construction, fit, and finishing details.

Store Operations

  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards throughout the showroom.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed, organized, and presented according to brand guidelines.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and product management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Follow up with customers regarding orders, fittings, alterations, and deliveries.
  • Handle customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain customer records and support client retention initiatives.
  • Represent the brand positively both in-store and through customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in fashion retail sales, styling, luxury retail, or bespoke fashion.
  • Proven experience taking measurements and managing garment fittings.
  • Strong understanding of tailoring processes, garment construction, and alterations.
  • Excellent fashion sense and awareness of current style trends.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in basic retail operations and POS systems is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a fashion house, luxury boutique, bespoke tailoring outfit, or premium retail brand is highly preferred.
