Job Mission:

The Learning & Development Professional is responsible for supporting the localization, preparation, delivery, and follow-up of learning initiatives for Fashion retail employees, primarily Fashion Advisors.

The role contributes to strengthening employees’ product knowledge, collection storytelling, client engagement, service, and selling capabilities in line with CHANEL’s strategy and standards, while ensuring relevance to the Korea market.

Working closely with the Fashion L&D team, Retail Learning Development Partners, retail teams, and relevant stakeholders, the L&D Professional helps translate learning into practical application in boutiques.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Planning & Content Development

  • Support the implementation of the annual Fashion learning plan in line with business priorities and CHANEL standards.

  • Localize Global and Regional learning materials for the Korea market, ensuring accuracy, consistency, relevance, and timely delivery.

  • Develop or adapt clear and engaging learning materials and tools aligned with Fashion learning priorities.

Learning Delivery & Boutique Application

  • Prepare and facilitate Fashion learning programs, including onboarding, collection and product category training, and client-facing capability programs.

  • Deliver learning sessions with professionalism, positive energy, and strong audience engagement, adapting the approach to different audiences and learning environments.

  • Work with Retail Learning Development Partners and boutique teams to support learning application through relevant follow-up activities and practical tools.

  • Provide on-site learning delivery and support in boutiques as required to address business and learning needs.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Collaborate with the Fashion L&D team, retail teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in the preparation and execution of learning initiatives.

  • Coordinate assigned learning programs and projects with guidance from the L&D Manager, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

  • Participate in divisional projects, internal and external events, and collection-related initiatives as assigned.

Learning Follow-up & Operations

  • Gather feedback and observations from learners, RLDPs, and retail stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain accurate learning records and prepare regular reports on participation, feedback, and implementation progress.

  • Coordinate learning logistics, including schedules, venues, vendors, materials, and other operational requirements.

Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, retail or another client-focused industry

  • At least 2 years of experience in training facilitation or a related role

Required Competencies

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, demonstrating positive energy, professionalism, and the ability to engage and influence different audiences

  • Proactive in identifying opportunities, addressing problems, and exploring new approaches

  • Client service mindset with sound commercial awareness of the retail environment

  • Ability to understand complex or new information and translate it into clear, accurate, and engaging learning messages

  • Ability to connect the dots, consider the broader and longer-term perspective, and communicate ideas in a clear and inspiring way

  • Comfortable working with complexity, ambiguity, and changing priorities

  • Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and improvement

  • Open to feedback and able to translate it into improved performance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels

  • Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
