The Fashion Designer is responsible for delivering creative projects that are consistent with the Brand Identity, through the following proposals: Conceptual inspiration, color trends, material proposals, silhouettes, details.
He/she shares his/her choices with the Head of Design, PM and Collection Coordinator.
The core responsibilities of the role are:
Education & Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, or an equivalent academic qualification.
Professional Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in similar roles (e.g., design Office Assistant, Junior fashion designer) with Luxury or Contemporary brands.
Hard Skills & Technical Expertise
Design & Graphics: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Procreate.).
Technical Knowledge: Denim garment construction, treatments and washing (specifically on RTW all products categories), including strong knowledge of materials, hardware, denim pattern making and manufacturing processes.
Soft Skills & Mindset
Organization : Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliveries simultaneously while strictly adhering to deadlines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable to collaborate alongside the Art Director, Senior Designers and coordination/ technical team and departments.
Languages:
Fluent italian (written and spoken)
Fluent English (written and spoken) is important, to effectively manage international collaborations and suppliers.
