We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.

Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

The Business Development Team is responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing emerging merchants as well as creating long-term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages hundreds of accounts across various verticals.

The team is seeking a Business Development Intern who is responsible for identifying and onboarding e-commerce brands/retailers/merchants and providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success on TikTok Shop.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification; Identify relevant sellers for onboarding based on lead lists and own industry research, support merchant acquisition and - once onboarded - first product listings and sales.
• Support outreach activities through email campaigns and calls to book meetings.
• Collaborate with account managers to analyse the category growth opportunities of merchants through data analysis, and continuously improve the operational capabilities and output of merchants on the platform.
• Follow up on product selection and submission for key special campaigns and promotional activities, as well as the tracking and analysis of the post campaign performance

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor's degree or above in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or any similar field
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer of 2027
• Understanding of TikTok and TikTok Shop from a customer perspective/in-app experience
• Experience working with Excel and delivering actionable insights
• Data-driven, strong execution with attention to detail, good communication, collaborative, and good time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience (in E-Commerce), ideally in account management or business development
• Strong understanding of content, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other content-driven platforms.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Super self-driven, able to work towards deadlines and enjoy building things from scratch
