The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a full-time Family Visitor(s) to join our Maine Families of Greater Portland team!
Maine Families is grounded in a prevention approach and in the establishment of trusting relationships with parents and caregivers raising children under 3. Through regularly scheduled visits, Family Visitors use an evidence-based model to promote positive parent-child interaction, build parenting skills and knowledge around child development, and support whole family wellbeing from the start. Maine Families makes a difference!
Responsibilities
The Family Visitor role will ensure the daily delivery of quality services for parents, caregivers, and children in accordance with Maine Families Standards of Practice, Maine Families policies and procedures, Parents As Teachers Curriculum, and the Touchpoints model as well as NASW and NAEYC Codes of Ethical Conducts.
Schedule This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position. There is the ability to have a flexible schedule Monday to Friday with some evenings required.
Location Based out of our South Portland office. Serving Greater Portland. This is a hybrid position doing both virtual and in-person work.
