Job Title: Family Support Worker: Domestic Abuse Lead
Salary: £33,531 - £38,052per annum
Grade: D
Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Job Purpose
To work as a member of the Families First Pilot Programme (FFPP) to promote children living with their families where appropriate and safe to do so.- taking a lead role in a specific area e.g. Domestic Abuse, Substance Misuse
To be the case holding ‘Lead Professional’ working with families where domestic abuse or substance misuse is a concern. This is an exciting opportunity to develop practice in these areas within the Families First Pilot.
To support the development, delivery and co-ordination of an agreed plan as part of a ‘Team Around the Family’, within the context of the FFPP Pilot programme.
To promote the use of community-based services to enable families to find local solutions and build resilience to sustain agreed outcomes

Special Conditions
Due to the nature of the post ‘out of hours’ (evening) and weekend / bank holiday work will be necessary for which time off in lieu will be provided or appropriate payments for out of Band hours and Bank Holiday working.
