Job Location: Reed Street - Philadelphia, PA 19146Join the team of child welfare and behavioral health professionals launching an innovative new program in Philadelphia!

Bethanna is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Partner to join our new Crisis Access Link Model (CALM) program. This innovative, short-term service provides a mobile, on-site, face-to-face therapeutic response to children, youth, and their resource families following an initial child welfare placement or a move to a new placement.

As a Family Support Partner, you will play a vital role in helping children and families navigate the critical early stages of placement by providing peer support, promoting stability, and helping prevent crises before they occur.

Position Summary

The CALM Family Support Partner will support children, youth, and resource parents during initial out-of-home placements and placement transitions within the designated CALM region. Working closely with the Intervention Specialist, the Family Support Partner will help improve outcomes for children and youth involved in the child welfare system by:

  • Supporting placement stability and permanency
  • Building meaningful connections across child-serving systems
  • Providing peer support to resource caregivers
  • Helping prevent placement disruptions through early intervention and stabilization services

QualificationsRequired

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Lived experience as a kinship or resource caregiver
  • Eligibility for Peer Partner Certification within one year of employment
  • Commitment to supporting children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare system

Preferred

  • One year of experience in a Peer Partner or Family Partner role
  • Previous formal or informal mentoring or peer support experience

Schedule

Family Support Partner

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
