Provides primary health care in the area of Family Planning Title X and Women’s Wellness Connection within established Colorado Department of Health protocols and in collaboration with a physician who has signed protocols.

This position is currently supported by grant funding, which allows us to advance the county's strategic initiatives. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability.

Pay Rate

The hourly range is from $45.04 to $51.28, depending on experience, plus partial benefits.

This position is 10 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse within Colorado.

Qualifications/Education

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from a school accredited by the National League for Nursing, with at least one-year of appropriate nursing experience, with the expanded nursing function evidenced by completion of an organized educational program in either adult health or women's health care, or as a Family Planning Nurse Practitioner with a certificate.
  • Or, graduation from a National League for Nursing approved School of Nursing with at least two years of appropriate nursing experience and with the expanded nursing role as evidenced by completion of an organized educational program in adult health or women's health care or as a F.N.P. with a certificate.
