Neobridge Healthcare is proud to share this opportunity on behalf of Avalon Health Clinic, a new multidisciplinary clinic planned for Greater Victoria, BC. Avalon is seeking founding Family Physicians to help lead longitudinal primary care for patients across Greater Victoria.

This is an opportunity to practice family medicine the way many physicians hoped it would be: relationship-based, team-supported, clinically meaningful, and sustainable.

We are building a true medical home where patients receive coordinated care and physicians have the time, infrastructure, and interdisciplinary support needed to do their best work.

At Avalon, you will practice alongside Nurse Practitioners, allied health clinicians, and rehabilitation specialists in one connected environment.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS

• Lead longitudinal primary care for an attached patient panel
• Build meaningful continuity relationships with patients and families
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health concerns across the lifespan
• Work directly alongside Nurse Practitioners, MOAs, and allied health professionals as a coordinated team, not in parallel
• Refer in-house to physiotherapy, occupational therapy, kinesiology, pelvic floor physiotherapy, counselling, and rehabilitation pathways under one roof
• Participate in collaborative care planning for complex patients
• Help shape clinical workflows and systems in a brand-new clinic rather than inherit outdated ones
• Contribute to a patient experience that feels connected, respectful, and easier to navigate

WHO YOU ARE

You are a Family Physician who values continuity, thoughtful medicine, and strong patient relationships.

You bring sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and compassion. You appreciate autonomy, but also know great care happens when strong teams work together.

You may be especially drawn to multidisciplinary care, modern systems, and helping build something meaningful from the ground up.

WHAT YOU BRING

• MD with full registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC or eligibility to register
• Active CCFP designation or eligibility
• CMPA coverage
• Comfort with EMR systems and team-based care
• Strong communication skills and collaborative instincts
• New-to-practice and experienced physicians are equally welcome

HOW WE WORK

• Compensation: Competitive fee-for-service model with physician overhead split ranging from 15% to 27.5%, based on billings and level of clinical support required
• Transparent compensation structure reviewed during the interview process
• Strong earning potential supported by integrated referrals, attached patients, and efficient systems
• EMR, scheduling, billing, and clinical infrastructure managed centrally so you can focus on patient care
• Full administrative support including MOA team, reception, panel coordination, and operational systems
• Access to integrated allied health and rehabilitation services under one roof
• Collaborative team environment with regular interdisciplinary meetings
• Flexible scheduling discussions available
