JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner License
• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
• Active DEA (Preferred)
• Current NP Certification
• Inpatient Psychiatry or Behavioral Health Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to Independently Perform Physicals and Oversee Medical Care for Psychiatric Inpatients
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Medical Oversight for Adult Psychiatric Inpatients
• Conduct Admission and Follow-Up Physical Examinations
• Evaluate and Manage Medical Conditions of Behavioral Health Patients
• Collaborate with Psychiatry, Nursing, and Behavioral Health Staff
• Document Patient Encounters and Treatment Plans
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Care Planning
