GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Per diem - as needed (Part-time), remote Family Medicine and Primary Care Coder to deliver high-quality E/M coding services. In this role, you will review medical charts and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for both inpatient and outpatient professional fee primary care encounters. The ideal candidate holds a current CPC or equivalent credential, has a minimum of 3 years of E/M coding experience in a primary care setting, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with at least a 95% accuracy rate. Proficiency in EMR systems, especially EPIC, is preferred. This is a remote opportunity requiring full-time availability to work during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

This position will provide high-quality primary care E/M coding. The coder will be responsible for reviewing charts and identifying appropriate ICD-10 codes. Work will be completed virtually and must be of high quality.

• Primary Care: includes vaccines, skin procedures, and annual wellness visits/physicals
• E/M office visits and procedures
• Work Type: Professional Fee (ProFee) Coding
• Commitment: Per diem - Part-Time, Regular Business Hours, Monday - Friday
• Specialty: Family Medicine and primary care
• Productivity Expectations: 12-15 Charts Per Hour
• Validation of AI Coded EM and Diagnoses for Primary Care.

Requirements

• Current CPC or equivalent credential through AAPC or AHIMA required
• CEMC preferred but not required
• Experience must include coding rural clinic E/M visits and in-office procedures
• Experience must include Family Medicine coding, including:
• Vaccines
• Skin procedures
• Biopsies
• Foreign body removal
• Annual wellness visits
• Annual physicals
• Experience coding nursing home rounds, pre-op physicals, and CDL physicals
• 3+ years of coding experience required

The pay range for this role is:

25 - 27.55 USD per hour (Remote)
