Reporting to the Program Director, the Residents provides responsible, safe, efficient, and compassionate physician practice activities and progressive acquisition of clinical skills consistent with the practice of Family Medicine. Residents are assigned a faculty advisor/mentor and are supervised (either directly or indirectly) by attending physicians.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) - To be verified 90 days after start Required
Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required
NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Heart Association Preferred
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support - American Heart Association Preferred
Skills:
Must be able and willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, hospital staff, attending physicians and the public; and perform high-level decision-making.
