Family Medicine / Primary Care NP or PA

4-Day Work Week (Days Only)| No WeekendsLocation: Anchorage, AK

North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our inpatient behavioral health team.

Position Highlights

  • Conduct admission H&Ps, follow-up assessments, and medical consults.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing staff.
  • Manage medical needs of inpatient behavioral health patients.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • FNP or PA-C.
  • Alaska APRN license (or ability to obtain).
  • Board certified (ANCC, AANPCB, or NCCPA)
  • Inpatient, acute care, or behavioral/mental health experience preferred.
