JOB OVERVIEW

  • Case Mix: Mix of pediatrics and adults

  • Support Staff: RNs: 1, MAs: 2

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required: No

  • Temporary Privileges Available: No

  • Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Preferred:

    • Well woman care

    • IUD insertion/removal

    • Newborn (birth-30 days)

    • Infant (30 days - 1 year)

    • Toddler (1-2 years)

    • Child (3-13 years)

    • Adolescent (13-18 years)

    • General outpatient

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC/BE required

  • Licenses: Licensed in CA

  • DEA: Active DEA required before start

  • Certifications: BLS

  • Experience: Candidate CVs must include month and date for work experience and education with all employment gaps accounted for.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to a mix of pediatric and adult patients.

  • Perform chronic pain management as part of clinical duties.

  • Maintain accurate medical records with chart closure within 72 hours.

  • Meet minimum patient volume requirements of 18 patients per day.

  • Comply with all facility immunization requirements including Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap.
