The Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare in Sparta, WI is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our practice.
A Family Medicine Physician is needed to join the department at the Sparta Campus (Clinic and Hospital). This dynamic practice is known for its innovation and commitment to continuous improvements in primary care. The practice includes outpatient/inpatient services. Inpatient work uses a hospital rounding model shared equally among the family physicians 1:6. When in hospital rounding, the family physicians provide 1 week coverage of the inpatient unit and ED back-up for admissions. The ED is staffed 24/7 by Mayo Clinic Health System Emergency Medicine Physicians. The clinic and hospital at the Sparta Campus are located in one facility and utilize combined, state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostic radiology and lab services. The 25-bed, Joint Commission Accredited, critical access hospital offers same day surgery, telemetry unit with cardiac monitoring, cardiorespiratory service and other ancillary and support services. The hospital has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation for quality. Specialist providers from our La Crosse Campus provide outreach services at the Sparta Campus in Audiology, ENT, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry and Urology.
Qualifications Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine and have or able to obtain a WI Medical License.
