Patient Volume: Approximately fourteen to seventeen patients per day
Call: No call and no obstetrics
This is an opportunity to practice high quality family medicine in a rural setting where physicians are supported, respected, and given the time and resources to care for patients well.
We are supporting a rural hospital and family medicine clinic with a strong leadership team and a well established care model. This role is ideal for a physician who values relationship based care, collaboration, and a balanced approach to medicine and life.
In rural healthcare, family medicine physicians are central to the health and stability of the community. This clinic is designed to support providers with realistic patient volumes, dedicated clinical staff, and access to specialty services that allow you to focus on practicing medicine.
You will work within a collaborative team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health, and specialty support. Leadership is accessible, systems are in place, and providers are given the space to do their best work.
Established family medicine clinic with physician and advanced practice provider team
Dedicated medical assistant support for each provider
Virtual scribe support available
Integrated behavioral health and specialty services
On site services include express care, pain management, dental, optometry, and diabetes care
Visiting specialty services include cardiology, dermatology, pulmonology, podiatry, orthopedics, and general surgery
Electronic Medical Record supported by clinical informatics staff
Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients across the lifespan
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in quality improvement and clinical best practice initiatives
Serve as a mentor and resource to advanced practice providers and clinical staff
Practice medicine with professionalism, compassion, and integrity
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy licensed or license eligible in Washington State
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
One year or more of recent experience in outpatient or acute care preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Comfort working in a collaborative, team based environment
A genuine interest in rural medicine and community focused care
